An exciting opportunity has arisen for a UX Designer with the drive and a team player attitude to join our digital department.



The UX Designer will join the growing digital team at Identity Global and will be responsible for delivering user experience research, design, and recommendations across our diverse array of digital event projects. The role will suit a versatile candidate that can work with creative, technical, and non-technical stakeholders to create world-class user experiences for our clients.



Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Develop research strategies to uncover what our users need



Client interviews to capture requirements



User interviews and research to validate design approach



Knowledge sharing and influence to ensure validated, user-centric design solutions



Develop user personas from research



Develop epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for features and functional elements of software/technical products often for multiple personas and user journeys



Develop user stories into annotated functional wireframes that can be used to build, test, validate and deliver superb experiences



Present research, recommendations, and design to internal and external stakeholders in an influential, engaging way that ensures user needs remain at the heart of the work we deliver, and all requirements are captured and agreed



Design wireframes and clickable prototypes for review and testing in systems such as Figma



Collaborate with the creative team and other stakeholders to bring a concept to life, championing user experience at all stages of a project



Lead UX elements of digital projects and inform and collaborate effectively with other functional leads within multi-disciplinary teams



Champion the voice and needs of the user throughout project scooping, planning and delivery



Manage and/or collaborate with freelance UX and Digital Design resource across projects that require additional capacity



Brief, collaborate with and manage external research agencies to deliver testing and interpret and present results and solutions in a comprehensive, influential way



Support the Digital Creative Director to design, organise and run internal and client-facing workshops



Proactively research and present ongoing UX developments, best-practice and knowledge to the digital team and wider agency



Skills and Experience:

Essential:

UX Design for web, mobile and digital screens



Competent in Figma, XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator



Effective workshop design & implementation



Analytics analysis and reporting data in a meaningful, actional way



Resilient, positive approach to setback



Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where managing multiple projects and requirements concurrently is the norm



Effective time and task management



Previous experience at a digital, or full-service events agency at a mid-weight level (3 + years) or comparable client-side experience
