We are seeking a hard-working, passionate, and ambitious intern to join our team at Future Space in Bristol, UK, and develop computer vision modules for Calyo’s in-air ultrasound sensing technology. You will be required to carry out research and development into the utilisation of Calyo's 3D ultrasound sensors for SLAM and self-driving applications. This will involve gathering requirements for the system, conducting primary research through discussion with project stakeholders, reviewing the current literature and state-of-the-art, and ultimately working with datasets produced by our sensors to develop object detection and localisation modules. This internship is a great way to get valuable work experience in a vibrant community of start-up and scale-up businesses in the science, tech and engineering sectors. Best of all, it's located on the UWE campus, meaning you can be close to your studies, accommodation, and peers.
