Job Title: EMEA Operations Manager



Job Location: Pangbourne, Reading (Hybrid)



Industry: Oil and Energy, Procurement



Contract Length: 12 Months



Key Requirement: Manufacturing, Supply chain, Logistics experience (or similar)



Summary and Key responsibilities:

We owe our success to the efficiency of organizational processes. To help maintain and grow this standard, we’re seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong vendor and supply management ability, and take pride in attention to detail.



Key

Responsibilities



Lead implementation strategic new products


Lead new supplier onboarding, due diligence process and supplier performance management lead


Manage 3rd party operational activities as required, e.g. supplier transitions


Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in vendor performance management processes (Quality and VIFOT)


Accountable for vendor performance reporting in Hub geographic area


Lead supplier operational issues management (e.g. Quality issues / Supply disruptions) on behalf of market sector procurement colleagues


Procurement Lead in Europe OMS activities, including DNV audit of global procurement


Support implementation of business initiatives to deliver value – e.g. New Product Introductions


Work cross functionally to implement RM change projects delivering $ savings in Hub area


Support Africa and Turkey businesses (on behalf of 3rd party), with new supplier onboarding (including cost and contract negotiation) to deliver value (cost reductions and service improvements)


Act as voice of procurement in Europe Supply Meetings, Quality manager’s meetings and other stakeholder meetings



Skills/

Experience



6 or more years of proven success in an operations management role


Production, manufacturing, Supply chain or logistics experience in a fast-moving environment


The ability to review supplier capability audits and present findings


Excellent ability to review processes, strategies and implement updates to enhance efficiency and productivity
